Case Study: Total Energies Njambini Petrol Station: High-Performance Mechanical and UPP Piping Solutions
Project Background
Total Energies approached Universal Innovation & Industrial Ltd. for essential mechanical and piping installations at their Njambini petrol station. The goal was to ensure that the station was outfitted with durable, high-performance systems to support safe and efficient fuel distribution. Given the rural location, the station required robust infrastructure capable of withstanding high usage while maintaining safety standards.
Scope of Work
The project included three major areas of focus:
Mechanical Works: Universal Innovation & Industrial Ltd. managed the installation of mechanical systems essential to the station’s operations, including pumps, pipelines, and safety mechanisms. This ensured seamless fuel flow, minimized maintenance needs, and improved overall reliability for Total Energies.
UPP (Underground Pre-Insulated Polyethylene) Piping: The installation of UPP piping systems was critical to establishing a secure and efficient fuel distribution line. UPP piping is known for its resistance to corrosion, flexibility, and environmental durability, making it an ideal choice for the demanding conditions at a petrol station. Universal Innovation & Industrial Ltd. executed precise installation procedures to guarantee the integrity and safety of the fuel lines.
Off-Loading System Setup: A state-of-the-art off-loading system was also installed to ensure safe and efficient fuel delivery. This system enabled secure fuel off-loading directly into underground tanks, minimizing spill risks and enhancing operational safety.
